These rigid shaft couplings are of a split tube design so that they may be assembled radially on two long shafts. Made of aluminum alloy and bored to size, the two halves screw together to clamp the shafts tight and maintain alignment. A gap may be left between shafts for changing belts or installing change gears. For drives to 2 H.P., 3450 rpm.
