Friction clutch with integral sprocket

Friction clutch with sprocket
These friction type torque limiters are assembled with a bearing mounted sprocket and are ready to use. Set the torque and install. When the driven load exceeds the spring and friction pressure of the non-asbestos facings, the clutch will slip and will not re-engage until the overload is removed.

Sprockets other than standard are an easy modification. Special shaft lengths, bores, gears or pulleys instead of sprockets are available. Double springs for high torque are in stock. Clutches may be plated in quantity.
