Prevent machine Breakdowns
The Protek-Sure friction type torque limiting overload protector provides a reliable low cost method of preventing machine breakage and burned out motors. When the driven load exceeds the friction pressure of the non-asbestos clutch facings spring loaded against the pulley, sprocket or gear used in the clutch, the clutch will slip and will not re-engage until the overload is removed. All parts are of standard and proven design. A bronze oil impregnated bearing should be used on the I.D. of the pulley, sprocket or gear for increased life when overloads are frequent. Contact the factory for specials.

To Adjust Torque
Clamp the pulley, sprocket or gear used in the clutch in a vise. Turn the clutch shaft with a torque wrench. Tighten adjustment nut until the torque wrench reads the proper setting. Lock the set screw in the adjustment nut to hold it in place. 		Protek-Sure friction type torque limiters accomodate the full range of driveline components

Specials

Many O.E.M. requirements differ from standard dimensions. The factory is equipped to make either minor or major changes in clutches in limited or large quantities.
